Why do dogs smell?

Especially when their skin gets wet, organic compounds on dog skin create a moisture which evaporates. It's precisely this that brings along that wet dog smell we're all too familiar with. 

Here are some quick tips on how to get rid of dog smell

Nr. 1: use baking soda
Sprinkle a bit on your couch to freshen things up in your loving room. Even though the product is completely safe, make sure to vacuum cleane it the next day.

Nr. 2: use a fabric freshener
This is an easy way to get rid of pet odor from furniture. But watch out because they're more a somewhat of a maintenance product rather than a real solution. So you need to use it quite a lot. 

Nr. 3: regularly bathe your dog
It kinda makes sense but its o so important to keep your dog's hygiene up. Depending on the breed of dog, you'll want to talk to your vet doctor about how often you should bath your dog.
